Title: Salesperson

Reports to: Operations Manager

Pay:  D.O.E.

Position: Part-time seasonal May through September

Hours:  Average 30-35 hours per week

JOB SUMMARY

To promote the Ketchikan DUCK Tour and make tickets sales per availability. 

Responsibilities

As a salesperson your main objectives are to make tickets sales for the Ketchikan DUCK Tour and promote the company in a positive manner.  You will be required to maintain open radio communication with general manager calling in updates in tickets sales and helping to avoid overselling.  You will be responsible to set up your selling booth on the dock and to maintain a clean and neat working area.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES

1. Accurate cash handling abilities. 

1. Keep open radio communication with general manager

1. Neat and accurate writing of credit card slips.   

1. Convey a sense of professionalism in both demeanor and appearance.

1. Give clear and accurate directions.

1. Be able to stand for long periods of time.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

Must be 16 years or older.
